A beautiful country home! Tranquil!

We stayed at Duninald house for my daughter’s wedding and used it as the place for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready.

Absolutely stunning location and views. Beautifully appointed house tastefully decorated and provided everything we needed. Gorgeous verandah to sit and watch the cows. Could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you.

Julia’s place was the absolutely perfect place to stay for our wedding weekend. We got married at Tocal Homestead, which is 5 minutes away.

From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The home is so inviting. I stayed with 4 bridesmaids and it was the perfect setting to get ready together. Great lighting and roomy for the hair and makeup artist. We wished we could have stayed forever.

I will never forget the cups of tea sitting on the deck watching the cows go by. Thank you Julia

Situated on a working property Old Duninald is well appointed and very comfortable with a sunny verandah. The host welcoming and respectful of our privacy.

Old Duninald House is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed here with my bridesmaids and mother before my wedding at Tocal Homestead. The place is so peaceful, making for a relaxed vibe and the perfect location to get ready.

What a paradise! Gorgeous home located in your own private botanic garden with abundant bird life. Multiple spaces indoors and outdoors to relax and absorb the tranquil atmosphere. Comfortable beds with luxury linen.

Thoughtful basket of goodies provided for breakfast and snacking. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom.

Old Duninald has the most amazing grounds to walk around and take in nature. It’s not a place to just sleep in. It’s a place that you want to just stay and relax in for the whole time you’re visiting the area. Real country living.

Julia and her family are lovely. So hospitable. The house had all the essential amenities and an additional breakfast basket with beautiful local produce (lovely honey from the old duninald grounds).

I stayed at the beautiful Duninald house with my bridesmaids and mum the night before and morning of my wedding at Tocal Homestead.

The amazing hospitality and picturesque accomodation truly set the scene for a stress free and beautiful wedding experience. We can’t wait to return for weekends with the family or around our anniversary for little country escapes. The lighting and space was perfect for my hair and makeup artists when getting ready and the wrap around deck made for perfect photos.

Would highly recommend to any bride to be getting married in the area.

The property is exactly as described!! We stayed with our elderly parents and an interstate family member. On our first night we had extended family over for a casual dinner. There was plenty of room, seating and amenities in the kitchen. We had an absolute ball.

The house is surrounded by spectacular gardens worth a walk around!! The beds and bathrooms are very comfortable, everything you need onsite, just bring you and your food/beverages. Our second night was at a wedding at Tocal, just a hop skip and jump from this gorgeous property.

We loved our stay at Old Duninald for the weekend of our wedding. The house was spacious and well equipped and very clean. The gardens were stunning and we found a lot of beautiful spots for photos pre-wedding.

What a beautiful home. It was the perfect setting for our family wedding preparations. We all enjoyed sitting out on the back veranda and watching the kids run after the chickens. Adventures down to discover the possum living in the hut be the billabong was also a highlight. We appreciate all the thoughtful nibbles and for the flexibility – wonderful hosts!!
