Frequently Asked Questions…

What to expect?

Old Duninald House is surrounded by gardens and bushland, within Duninald – a 500-acre working farm. As part of the authentic farm experience, you may hear the sounds of farm life – cows mooing, and vehicles moving around.

As part of the authentic Australian experience, you may encounter insects and other creatures during your stay. It is recommended that you wear covered shoes when you walk in the wood.

Our water is rainwater collected from the roof. It may look a little different to city water, but it is fully filtered and safe to use.

Client Experiences

We enjoyed our stay here for the beautiful wedding of Abby & Jonty at Tocal House.
What an incredibly warm, inviting and relaxing home! This is a beautiful space to relax and be with friends. Thank you for making it so comfortable. We hope to enjoy it again one day!

Mel Yeomons – 2024

What a beautiful house! It was the perfect setting for our family wedding preparations. We all enjoyed sitting out on the back verandah, watching the kids run after the chickens. Adventures down to discover the possum living in the hut by the creek were also a highlight. We appreciate all the thoughtful nibbles and the flexibility – wonderful hosts!
